Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Christian ministry Operation Christmas Child is packing shoeboxes full of toys for kids in need this holiday season. Drop-offs can be made Wednesday and Thursday night at Eastern Hills Church on Greiner Road in Williamsville from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., then 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, 12 p.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m.-8 p.m. next Monday. The church collected over 15,000 shoeboxes full of toys last year.

Clarence-based Dynabrade is planning a 40,000 square foot expansion at its Sheridan Drive headquarters. The add-on will include more manufacturing and office space. Work is set to start early next year.

A multi-unit apartment complex on Legion Parkway in Lancaster has been sold to a group of investors. They paid $1.235 million for the building.

Independent Health is now an affiliate of MVP Health Care, which is based out of Schenectady. The deal still needs regulatory approval.
