Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Eastern Hills mall has recently cleared a 30 million dollar funding obstacle, but years of work are still to come for redevelopment along part of Transit Road. The state allocated the grant for the Transit Road corridor sanitary sewer upgrades project, which is needed for multiple redevelopment proposals as the county anticipates construction to start in 2028.
The national average price for a gallon of gas is now $2.93, which is up three cents from last Monday. The New York State average is $2.99, which would end up being the same price for the past two Mondays. A year ago, the state average was $3.18.
A luxury rental townhome community in Clarence Center has been sold for $21 million in Erie County to Meritas Equity Partners and Symphony Property Management. The 77-unit luxury rental community makes it Erie County's largest real estate deal of 2026 as Symphony is set to oversee day-to-day operations.
