The expansion of Eastman Machine Co.'s Buffalo footprint is nearly complete. As reported by Business First, the cutting-machine company will soon take over the whole block on Washington Street, between East Tupper and Goodell. Eastman recently closed on the purchase of a property at 707 Washington; with this new addition Eastman will be expanding by about 25,000 square feet. This will also enable the company to add a handful of employees, for a total of 150 workers.
Also from Business First, Connecticut-based Vesta Corp. has paid $9 million for the Touraine Apartments at 274 Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo. All of the 104 units in the apartment complex are leased to those in the low-to-moderate U.S. Census Bureau income bracket.
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center doctors fared well in Buffalo Spree magazine's Top Doctor's list for 2022. 128 physicians across 33 specialties made the list, which is compiled through surveys submitted by Western New York physicians.
