Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Elmwood Village Association will celebrate its 30th anniversary during the first week of November. A series of theme days will start this Friday, November 1st, running through November 8th. Theme days include "Shop Elmwood", "Eat Elmwood" and "Elmwood After Hours", among others. A kickoff event will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Union Consumer Square plaza in Cheektowaga has sold for over $43 million, the largest real estate deal in Erie County since December of 2021, per Buffalo Business First. The plaza includes Sam's Club, Pet Supplies Plus and Texas Roadhouse and is a short distance away from the Walden Galleria.
Gas in Buffalo fell 4 cents over the last week, coming in at $3.29 per gallon according to AAA. The national price keeps dropping, too, down 5 cents at $3.13.
