Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie 1 BOCES has been awarded $3.1 million for the Empire State Teacher Residency Program. The funds will help Erie 1 BOCES support over 100 teacher residents. The program is meant to promote diversity in education and fully or partially fund master's degrees for teachers.
The television home of the Buffalo Sabres, MSG, and YES Network have launched a joint operation called GAME that will assist professional sports teams with launching their own streaming service, according to The Athletic. Sabres games are already available for streaming on the MSG+ streaming service.
Hilbert College has submitted plans to Hamburg's planning board for a new on-campus athletic field, per Buffalo Business First. The new field is expected to cost between $4.5 and $6 million.
