
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Another home has sold for more than $1 million in Erie County, this one a three-bedroom house at 188 Reist Street in the Village of Williamsville. The final sale price was $1.127 million. It's the 80th home sale of $1 million or more this year in Erie County, which is just four shy of a new record that was set last year. $1 million home sales are considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
Excelsior Orthopedics has purchased a two-story, 35,000 square foot building at 8750 Transit Road in East Amherst. Excelsior had been leasing the space for the past several years. They paid $7.65 million for the building.

The price of gas dropped 2 cents in Buffalo since last Monday, averaging $3.16 per gallon. The average price across New York State is $3.13.
