Elma, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie County continues to inch its way to the century mark for homes, this year, selling for north of key $1 million-plus economic benchmark.
And, at the same time, Erie County continues to move on a pace for setting a new record for the sale of private residences going for more than $1 million.
In the latest deal, a four bedroom house at 30 Timberline Drive in Elma sold for $1.75 million - making it the 98 home this year to sell for more than $1 million.
The four-bedroom, 5.000-square-foot house was constructed in 2004.
The deal marks the second time, this year, a house in Elma has sold for more than $1 million.
Erie County is pacing towards 110 homes, this year, selling for more than $1 million - a figure that would bypass last year's record of 105 homes surpassing the $1 million benchmark.
Since 2024, more than 320 homes in Erie County have sold for more than $1 million.
The $1 million-plus benchmark is considered a key economic threshold within the region's residential real estate industry.
