Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Two more four-bedroom homes in Erie County were sold as it crossed a key $1 million sales threshold.
Built in 2007, the one 8,900-square-foot home was owned by the late Charles Balbach and the other home was a 104-year-old house at 80 Cleveland Drive in Buffalo that went over just $1 million.
With the two sales, Erie County has had eight homes this year sell for more than $1 million dollars which is a key benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
Ellicott Development listed the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Amherst for sale, even though the property doesn’t show a price tag it is assessed close to $9 million.
The hotel at 3880 Rensch Road was opened in 2018 and the four-story, 66,760-square-foot hotel includes amenities and a parking lot.
A barbershop has filed a lawsuit against four other barbers for over $36,000 in damages.
JonnytheBarber filed a complaint with state Supreme Court in Erie County and accused four barbers who left his business owed him thousands of dollars combined from breaking their contracts. Barbers who leave in advance of the termination date are said to owe liquidated damage penalty of $12,500.
