Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie County has set a new record for $1 million home sales in a single year with 84. The mark was broken with the sale of a five-bedroom house on Gypsy Lane in East Aurora, which sold for $2.15 million. The house was built in 1883 and sits on more than 9 acres of land.

The Buffalo Airport is getting a new restaurant. Satterfield's is named after the airport's founder, John M. Satterfield and honors Buffalo's aviation history. A ribbon cutting was set for Thursday.

The Walden Galleria hosts its annual indoor trick-or-treating event Thursday from 2 p.m-8 p.m. on the first floor near Urban Outfitters. Ticket sales benefit the American Cancer Society of Western New York.

Bills special teamer Sam Franklin is settling in to Buffalo. He recently purchased a house in Orchard Park for $839,000.
