Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Fat Bob's is expanding its bar and adding a takeout area as a $150,000 renovation is underway. The restaurant at 41 Viriginia Place in Buffalo will be closed until February but until then owners Bridget and Patrick Ryan will be serving BBQ from a kitchen at 42 North at the Flats on Main Street. Bridget Ryan told Business First the goal is to put the focus back on the bar side of the restaurant.

Daemen University and the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York have formed a partnership. Graduates of the Health Foundation's Leadership Fellows program are eligible for six credits towards Daemen's Leadership and Innovation Master's program.

Jewish Family Services of Western New York has promoted Natalie Johnson to Vice President of Administration. Johnson will oversee the organization's HR, payroll, operations, facilities and compliance departments. Johnson has been with Jewish Family Services since early 2024.

Gas continues to fall ever-so-slightly in Buffalo, dropping 1 cent since last Monday to $3.09 per gallon. Prices nationally saw a sharp uptick, jumping 5 cents to $2.85.
