
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - 148 golfers will take to Diamond Hawk in Cheektowaga Wednesday morning for the fifth annual golf tournament raising money for Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flights. Registration is at 10am. Money raised allows veterans of World War 2, Korea and Vietnam take free trips to the nation's capital to visit memorials for their fellow servicemen. The next Honor Flight is the first all-female flight, including veterans and guardians.
The BFLO Store's Galleria location has officially relocated into an 8,682 sq. ft. space across from The Lego Store on the mall's first floor. A grand opening celebration will be held this Saturday morning at 10 with giveaways and more.
Villa Maria College is marking a major milestone with its highest enrollment levels in the school's history. There's 630 students enrolled at the college as of this year, 263 of which are new. Enrollment has jumped 15% over the last three years.
