Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Plant WNY and Upstate Equipment are hosting the annual Snow & Ice Management Conference at Banchetti by Rizzo in Amherst Thursday from 9am-4pm. Fleet managers, property care businesses and local vendors will gather to talk safety, de-icing tech and network before winter comes. Admission is $50 for members and $55 for non-members.
Restoration continues at the Hotel Niagara in Niagara Falls, but Business First reports developer Brine Wells won't complete the project until December 2027. The original plan called for an early 2027 opening. The price tag has also jumped to $66.6 million, a 15% jump from a year ago because of equipment price increases.
A year ago it was unthinkable, but one season of winning has led to a season ticket sellout for the Sabres. The team is opening a waitlist that requires a $100 deposit.
