Foot Locker expanding at Walden Galleria

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Foot Locker is taking a big step forward at the Walden Galleria, tripling in size and moving to a nearly 12,000-square-foot space on the mall's lower level across from Dick's Sporting Goods. The expansion will include Foot Locker's basketball-focused House of Hoops and a Kids Foot Locker section all in one space. The store is expected to reopen before the end of the year.

The Summit Center is extending its mental health services to adults and renaming its Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic to the Behavioral Health Clinic. This means therapy will now be offered to adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, autism and more. Behavioral Health Clinic director, Dr. David Meichenbaum, says the change will make it easier for people of all ages to receive care in one place.


Clarence-based Dynabrade has received a building permit for a 40,400-square-foot expansion at its Sheridan facility. Business First reports the project will cost $6.2 million and has been in the works for two years. Construction is expected to be completed by early next year. Dynabrade makes abrasive power tools.
