Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Ford has agreed to pay $2.3 million to settle a 2021 claim alleging racial and national origin harassment at its Buffalo Stamping Plant. An investigation by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found that black, Native American and Hispanic workers were targeted with offensive graffiti in bathrooms, break rooms and other areas of the plant.
The Rayzors Foundation is drawing inspiration from the 11 Day Power Play for the new 7th Inning Stretch, a week-long fundraiser raising awareness for mental health. Youth and adult baseball and softball teams will play 24/7 from August 14-21 of 2027 at Frontier High School, with the final games and a Home Run Derby being played at Sahlen Field. Proceeds benefit BryLin Hospital, Horizon Health Services and many other local mental health organizations.
