Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Gas prices are surging again, rising 10 cents in Buffalo to $4.42/gallon, according to AAA. Prices across the state rose 9 cents to $4.48, while the country as a whole saw another 16 cent jump to $4.47, which is 54 cents shy of the all-time record of $5.01 set in June of 2022.
Progress is being made at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst, with the town's director of special projects telling Business First it hopes to complete the eminent domain process by the end of the year with demolition starting soon after. Once the mall is torn down the town needs to start working on infrastructure, which could take up to two years.
Spectrum Health is holding a job fair this Wednesday from 4pm-6:30pm at 227 Thorn Avenue in Orchard Park. Openings are available for clinicians, administrative support and medical services of all skill levels.
