Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - There's been another sizable increase in gas prices across Buffalo, jumping 16 cents to $3.56/gallon since last Monday. The war in Iran is influencing prices, as crude oil continues to hover around $100/barrel.
Catholic Charities of Buffalo has announced its Appeal 2026 leadership team. This year's Appeal is headed up by Daniel Mecca of Buffalo advertising firm Abbey-Mecca. He'll serve as chair. The goal is to raise $8 million by June 30th.
Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is taking advantage of the rush of fans coming to town for March Madness this week. The casino is offering special seat reservations from the 19th-22nd. There's also basketball-themed food and drink specials.
