Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Gas continues to get more expensive in Buffalo with prices rising 20 cents since last Monday to $3.76/gallon, according to AAA. The average price across the state is higher at $3.94/gallon, rising 22 cents over the last week. The New York State average one year ago was 84 cents cheaper at $3.10.
Newsweek has named D'Youville University to its list of Best Colleges for Women in the US. D'Youville was ranked number one in Western New York and 159th nationally.
This past weekend's Variety Kids Telethon raised $1,014,326. That money will go directly to Golisano Children's Hospital and other charities.
