Slight dip for local gas prices

The AAA noting another dip in local gas prices. The current average cost for a gallon of unleaded sliding three cents, down to $4.66.

Catholic Health reported a loss of $55.2 million for its first quarter.  Business First notes the system paid $34.5 million during the first quarter on temporary agency staffing, in order to deal with a labor dispute and a surge in Covid-19 patients.


Just over two weeks after purchasing  the Tops Plaza at 746 Young Street in the City of Tonawanda, SKY New York Holdings LLC of Houston sold the Tops building in that property.  Business First says SKY New York bought the plaza May 16th for $15.25 million, then June 1st concluded the sale of the Tops to NS Retail Holdings LLC of Austin for $9 million.  The sales do not impact operations of any of the tenants of the plaza.

Two Men and A Truck's Buffalo franchise owners are expanding to Rochester, operating from 3495 Winton Place.  The Buffalo location on Nagel Drive in Cheektowaga has grown from 4 trucks to 10 since opening in 2020, according to Business First.
