Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Gas is officially above $4/gallon in Buffalo, rising 7 cents over the last week to $4.01, according to AAA. On top of the war, Easter travel has also created a demand for gas as people hit the road.
Buffalo Grand Hotel owner Harry Stinson has until April 29th to show the city proof of financing before the city moves forward with abandonment proceedings, according to Business First. Deputy Mayor Thomas Baines told Business First that Stinson has been providing monthly updates, though the city has yet to receive a full financing commitment.
The West Herr Automotive Group announced it is formalizing its leadership structure to support long-term growth. Beth Hollis has been named President, with Jay Galligan and Luke Werzinger serving as Executive Vice Presidents. Scott Bieler will continue as CEO and Majority Owner, saying he will, "continue in this position, remaining focused on growth and acquisitions, supporting our leadership team, ensuring our continued financial strength, staying engaged in the communities we serve, and most importantly, focusing on all of the West Herr employees and their futures.”
