Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - General Motors is investing $888 million into its Tonawanda engine plant with the installation of new equipment and machinery which will be used to produce the next generation of V-8 engines for trucks and SUVs beginning in 2027. The company says it's the largest investment they've ever made at an engine plant. 870 people work there. Installation of the new equipment is set to begin in July.
Tops will host a grand re-opening ceremony for its location at 425 Niagara Street in Buffalo next Tuesday, June 3rd. The 40,000 sq. ft. store is the latest to undergo a large-scale renovation.
Resurgence Brewing is bringing back Pints in the Park next Friday, June 6th. The events are free to attend and will be held at local parks throughout the summer, starting at Chestnut Ridge.
Timothy Sgroi has joined Sgroi Lawley Group. Timothy is the son of partner Patrick Sgroi. Timothy's addition to the team marks a third generation of Sgrois to work at the firm.
