Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - An annual tradition returns to the Village of Kenmore Saturday from 9am-3pm with the Gigantic Kenmore Garage Sale sprawling across the village's 1.5 square miles. There will be 190 garage sales total within that area, with shoppers from across Western New York and Southern Ontario. Site maps will be available by 3pm Friday at the Kenmore Village Improvement Society's website and Facebook page.
For the first time since 2003, the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York will host its Torch Awards for Ethics Ceremony Friday afternoon at Jazzboline in Amherst. The awards recognize businesses and nonprofits for their ethics and integrity.
Hilbert College has extended Michael Cornell's term as Interim President through May 31st, 2028. Cornell has been in the role since August of 2025. Cornell has 30 years of experience in education leadership in Western New York.
