Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship is partnering with the 43North Foundation and TechBuffalo to create an employment pipeline between the Golisano Institute and Odoo. TechBuffalo and the 43North Foundation will handle student recruitment, while the Golisano Institute will design a curriculum that sets students up for a job at Odoo.
Canisius University is teaming with Western Atlantic University School of Medicine in the Bahamas on an accelerated MD program. Students can earn a bachelor's degree from Canisius and Doctor of Medicine from Western Atlantic. Students will study at Canisius for 7 terms over 2 years, followed by 2 terms abroad in Freeport, Grand Bahama. That's also where medical coursework will begin. The entire program will last 6 years.
Jennifer Burris has been named President of Buffalo State University. Burris comes over from Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. She'll start as president July 1st.
