But if you're not done Christmas shopping yet, don't worry! There are still plenty of options, including express options.

Here are the deadlines:

USPS (continental U.S.)
Ground: Wednesday, Dec. 15
First-Class Mail: Friday, Dec. 17
Priority Mail: Saturday, Dec. 18
Priority Mail Express: Thursday, Dec. 23

If you’re shipping to Alaska or Hawaii by ground service, your deadline has long passed, but first-class and priority mail offer Dec. 17/18 and Dec. 21 deadlines.

FedEx (domestic)
Ground/Home Delivery: Wednesday, Dec. 15
FedEx 3-Day or Express Saver: Tuesday, Dec. 21
FedEx 2-Day: Wednesday, Dec. 22
FedEx 1-Day, Extra Hours: Thursday, Dec. 23
FedEx Same Day: Dec. 24

UPS (domestic)
Ground: Check UPS site
3-Day Select: Tuesday, Dec. 21
2-Day Air: Wednesday, Dec. 22
Next Day Air: Thursday, Dec. 23

FedEx is still suspending its guarantee of delivering on-time due to the pandemic, excluding some next-day service.

For UPS, ground service varies, and customers were asked to check their website to see when items would arrive. Putting in a delivery that was going from New York City to Los Angeles by the end of Wednesday would arrive by Dec. 22, according to their site.

If you’re shipping internationally, many deadlines have already passed. For Canada and Mexico, only some express options remain for USPS, while several options remain for UPS and FedEx.

Despite heightened worries about items shipping in time this year, all three services' deadlines are mostly similar to what each had the last two years.

USPS has taken in over 7.1 billion pieces of mail since Thanksgiving, according to its website.

Meanwhile, Amazon Prime members can get certain products within two days and next-day, and Walmart shoppers can get two-day and next-day shipping (with orders $35+) in some areas.
