Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A lot is new at the ballpark this year as the Buffalo Bisons announced this season's offerings at Sahlen Field. Every Thursday night home game will be a Family Value Night with $10 tickets and $3 concession items for kids. There's also a whole Kids' Month for all home games in March and April. The advance ticket purchase discount has gone up to 20% this year, too. Special theme nights are coming back, including Star Wars Night, Harry Potter Night, Theatre Night and more. UB has sold the naming rights to Alumni Arena and UB Stadium to Broadview Federal Credit Union in a $31 million deal that also includes money for scholarships and UB's student emergency fund. The agreement is for 15 years and is the largest in the Mid-American Conference.
Visit Buffalo has named two new members to its 21-person board of directors. Paris Roselli is President of the Richardson Center Corporation and Gary Siddall is President and CEO of the Buffalo Museum of Science and Tifft Nature Preserve. Both will serve an initial one-year term and are eligible to be on the board for up to 8 years.
