A new agreement has been reached between Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York and Kaleida Health. The agreement ensures Highmark's membership will continue to have access to Kaleida Health's high-quality hospitals, facilities and services. As part of its overall commitment to making health care affordable and accessible, Highmark BCBSWNY will work with Kaleida to enhance its value-based reimbursement programs for preventive health care.
Mod-Pac Corp. has used its option to buy, and now owns its building at 1803 Elmwood Avenue. Included in the reported $1.8 million purchase price was a property at 135 Rosalia Street. According to Business First, Mod-Pac bought the properties from New Buff Associates LLC of Flushing.
Also from Business First, Natale Builders is hoping to build a 180-unit senior housing complex in Orchard Park. The proposed $25 million project would involve the former Sisters of Mercy property at 5245 Murphy Road.
