HUNT Real Estate appoints new president, fifth since 1911

HUNT Real Estate Coporation has appointed Robert McDonnell as its fifth president since the company's founding in 1911. McDonnell will be responsible for the overall management, strategic initiatives, business development, and multi-state growth of the commercial real estate organization, including the commercial property management arm, HUNT Property Solutions.

Marrano Homes will construct 37 townhome units at 6386 Transit Road in Cheektowaga as part of a project by the town to build more apartments, according to Buffalo Business First. The new apartments are being constructed alongside Young Development, who will be building 360 additional units nearby. According to Young's website, the apartments will be available to rent by Spring of next year.

Two new food and drink options are coming to Seneca Gaming properties in Salamanca and Niagara Falls. The Bear Claw will take over the space previously occupied by a Tim Horton's at the Niagara Falls property on the first floor concourse, serving sandwiches and baked goods. Toscana Grill will open on the second floor of the Salamanca property, serving Mediterranean cuisine.
