HUNT Real Estate has developed plans to renovate the Brisbane Building downtown. HUNT plans to restore the lobby and build an event space that can be used for private parties. HUNT Real Estate intends to operate the new space itself, rather than find a tenant. Total costs of the project will equal around $2.5 million dollars.
Williamsville based architecture and engineering firm Wendel has acquired Mitchell Associates Architects, per Buffalo Business First. Mitchell and Wendel both have similar goals in developing facilities for first responders.
The Niagara County Office for the Aging will begin distributing Farmers' Market Coupon booklets tomorrow at the Lockport Community Farmer's Market. Each booklet contains $25 worth of coupons to purchase fresh produce. To qualify for a booklet you must be 60 years of age and be entitled to SSI, Public Assistance, SNAP or Section 8 Housing. Distribution will end in September.
