Doug Jemal has been named designated developer for a vacant parcel at Ridge Road in Lackawanna. The Lackawanna City Council making that official at an announcement yesterday. The site of the former St. Barbara's Church will be transformed into a four-story, mixed-use building with a development price of $35 million. According to Business First, Jemal gets the land for $1 with the promise he won't seek tax breaks or incentives.
Insurance company Lawley is preparing to open its first center dedicated to Medicare clients. Business First says the plan is to have Lawley Medicare Solutions open by the end of this moth at the Southgate Plaza in West Seneca.
