Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - We're just two days away from gates opening for the season at Six Flags Darien Lake. The park will be open for weekends and select days in May before opening daily June 24th. You'll notice some changes this year. 500 feet of new track has been added to the Titan roller coaster while Main Street underwent a major renovation.
Catholic Charities of Buffalo is hosting its third Hops for HOPE fundraiser for Appeal 2026 at Resurgence Brewing in Buffalo Thursday through Saturday. A portion of sales from each can and six-pack of the Hops for HOPE beer will go toward the cause, which has currently raised 73% of its goal for the year.
Uniland recently finished making major updates to the Embassy Suites Buffalo at downtown's Avant building. All 123 guest rooms, the hotel's lobby, meeting spaces and conference rooms got a new look.
