Kaleida Health announcing leadership appointments. Cheryl Klass, BSN, MBA, RN, has been named chief operating officer and chief nurse executive. Dr. Michael Mineo has been appointed chief medical officer. Dr. Michael Beecher has been named CMO of Buffalo General Medical Center and the Gates Vascular Institute. Dr. Raheel Ahmad will be CMO of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and DeGraff Medical Park.
Cedarland Development Group is working on two separate projects in East Buffalo that will result in 88 residential units. One development on Playter Street, according to Business First, will be a mix of single-family homes and two-unit townhomes. The other project involves renovating a vacant a former department store at 950 Broadway into a mixed use facility with apartments.
A ribbon-cutting will be held at 10:30 this morning for EllaRose Boutique. The store, at 9630 Transit Rd., Suite 800 in East Amherst, will be open for business tomorrow from 10am to 6pm.
