About two weeks ago, the sale of Adventure Landing on Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda was made public. Now Business First reports that deal is official. GM Tom Santalucia last week signed a nine-year lease with an option for a pair of five-year extensions. SMB Property Holdings LLC of Akron reportedly paid $885,000 for the complex.
After a 10 year run, Taste of Siam will be closing its dining room March 4th. Business First reports the restaurant may open later in Buffalo in a smaller space. The current lease for the business expires next month.
Also from Business First, Ellicottville's Steelbound Brewery & Distillery plans to add a hotel with a conference center and banquet hall. The project tab is estimated at $17.4 million.
The Board of Directors for the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation approved grants totaling $200,000. They were awarded to four groups in New York: the Western New York Chapter of the American Red Cross, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, Restoration Society, Inc. - CODE BLUE and Horizon Village.
