Life Storage will lay off 150 of its 248 employees according to a new Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification sent to New York State. The announcement of the layoffs comes just three months after Life Storage agreed to merge with fellow storage company Extra Space.
A new 44-unit housing project is coming to West Seneca. Hanley Development has received approval from the West Seneca Planning Board allowing the group to demolish Flattery's Bar at 1130 Orchard Park Rd. to make room for the new development. There's currently no timeline for completion of the project.
