Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Local organizations got together Wednesday at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center to discuss upcoming changes to Medicaid requirements. The goal of the meeting was to work on ideas for how local organizations can help Medicaid recipients meet those requirements. Some of the groups in attendance included Highmark, Independent Health, Univera and area nonprofits. More than 15,600 people in Niagara County alone will be impacted by the rule changes.
Economic development group Invest Buffalo Niagara has named Jenna Kavanaugh as its new President & CEO. Kavanaugh takes over October 19. She has almost two decades of experience with the nonprofit and previously served as Chief Operating Officer.
D'Youville University placed at #17 on Niche's 2027 list of Best College Campuses in New York. Campuses are evaluated based on their resources and facilities like classrooms, laboratories, performance venues, housing, dining and more.
