The current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas is $4.19 in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region according to the AAA. That's down eleven cents from a week ago. Local gas prices have eased thirty-four cents in the past month.
Another Main Street building purchase for developer Doug Jemal. He has purchased the structure at 525 Main, which formerly housed a Dragon Express restaurant. Business First reports the purchase price was $774,000. Jemal plans to build apartments on the upper floor and find a new tenant for the ground floor.
West Herr Automotive Group CEO Scott Bieler has donated $100,000 from the Scott Bieler Family Foundation to the Motion Project Foundation at the Natalie Barnhard Center for Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and Recovery in Cheektowaga. The donation will be to purchase essential equipment for the facility not found anywhere else in Western New York.
