Gas Prices On the Rise

Local gas prices went back up two cents this week according to the AAA. The current pump price for a gallon of unleaded is at $2.20.

Developer Doug Jemal appears poised to assume the mortgage on the former Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Buffalo.  Business First reporting Jemal's bid on the property was for just under $11 million.  If that bid is accepted, Jemal could assume the mortgage within the next month.  He would also have to work through potentially regaining the Hyatt brand for the hotel.

Working with Cerner, Spectrum Health and Human Services has implemented a newly developed electronic health record system.  This advanced technology will help make Spectrum Health more efficient with comprehensive record management and access to information.

Tomorrow Generation Development Group and its partners will hold a virtual press conference to discuss groundbreaking on its major project within Silo City.  The group is beginning work on a $65 million restoration and adaptive re-use of the historic American Mill & Warehouse building.
