Local gas prices are rising again. The AAA reports the cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro area increased by two cents this week, to $3.16.
Over the weekend, Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World opened at the site of the former Fantasy island on Grand island.
An Anchor Bar location has opened in the Campbell Student Union at SUNY Buffalo State. The campus location will serve a limited menu, including chicken wings, boneless chicken wings, beef-on-weck, and several vegetarian options. It will have late evening hours as well.
A report from The Business Journals indicates bad news for certain businesses tied to the Delta variant. In a survey of 5,349 small business owners conducted by small business referral network Alignable, 45% of restaurant owners could not pay their August rent on time or in full, up from 40% in July.
