The AAA puts the current average for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo Niagara Falls region at $4.33. That's down three cents from a week ago.
Independent Health lost $92.7 million in 2021 on revenue of nearly $2 billion. As noted in Business First, COVID-related expenses and an uptick in medical care costs drove the losses. Independent Health had come off a surplus of $86.2 million in 2020.
The Tralf Music Hall is now temporarily closed. An undisclosed new owner has taken over the local landmark and plans some renovations. That work should be finished by this fall.
