Gas prices locally resumed their rise this week. The AAA reports the cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region went up three cents to $3.12.
A self-pour tap room, called One Perfect Pour, will become a part of the Elmwood Crossing project from Ellicott Development, according to Business First. One Perfect Pour will offer 30 taps with craft beer and cider, plus bottled beer and wine. The business plans to open at 451 Elmwood Avenue in October.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and the New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union, Council 82, AFSCME, AFL-CIO have reached a three-year agreement with the Medical Center's security unit. The agreement provides for an increase to the hourly wage scale for all job titles as well as a stipend for being assigned additional duties and responsibilities.
