The AAA says the cost for an average gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area has risen to $4.21, reflecting a forty-six cent jump from a week ago.
M&T's bid to purchase People's United Bank has been finalized. The $7.6 billion deal makes M&T the 11th biggest bank in the country, according to Business First.
Also finalized - Doug Jemal's purchase of the building at 529 Main Street across from his Hyatt Regency Buffalo. Business First says Jemal paid $300,000 to businessman James Sandoro for that property.
Newsweek has placed Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center on its ranking of the World's Best Specialized Hospitals for Oncology 2022. Roswell Park is the only Upstate New York center listed within the top 50 centers in oncology, and the only Buffalo-area center to be included on the full list of 250 top cancer hospitals internationally.
