One cent rise at the pump locally

Local gas prices bumped up one penny over the Thanksgiving weekend to an average of $3.47 for a gallon of unleaded gas. The AAA noting that a gallon of gas at this time last year cost $1.30 cents less.

According to Business First, Tonawanda-based T&T Legacy Metals LLC was the recent recipient of a five-year federal contract to supply metal to dozens of military bases and arsenals across the country.  T&T Legacy Metals will work as a subcontractor with logistics company SupplyCore of Illinois.  The contract is through the Defense Logistics Agency.


Connecticut-based furniture retailer Lovesac is coming to the Walden Galleria next month.  Business First notes it will take the form of a kiosk on the lower level near the Apple Store.

Catholic Health will break ground tomorrow on the new Lockport Memorial Hospital.  The event takes place at 1pm at 6100 Ruhlmann Road in Lockport, off Transit.
