HSBC will bring its corporate offices in Western New York to the Larkin District in Buffalo. Business First reports HSBC will make the move from its current spot at 2929 Walden Avenue in Depew this fall. The new headquarters will be in the Larkin U building at 239 Van Rensselaer Street.
The Salvation Army of Buffalo has added a third phase to its downtown redevelopment plans. Business First is reporting that along with plans for a new three-story emergency shelter building on Main Street, there will be a seven-story building with 143 apartments. This building will face the Conventus Building on Main Street. A third par of the project will see a rebuild of the East Buffalo operations center at or near 21 Westminster Avenue. Project phases will run through 2025 at an estimated cost of $100 million.
Trocaire College hosts its annual Spring Soirée on Thursday, April 27 at 6pm in the Forbes Theatre at 500 Pearl Street in Buffalo. The event honors several deserving individuals and organizations, with proceeds supporting tuition assistance for Trocaire students.
