Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The seventh and eight floor apartments at the Avant in Buffalo are being turned into high-end, luxury apartments, called "Vistas at Avant." A report from Buffalo Business First says 59 apartments will be installed, going for $2,100-$3,800 a month. Some units will have floor to ceiling windows and hot tubs.

Lloyd Taco Factory is officially open on Elmwood in the former Thin Man building. It's the third Lloyd location in the area, joining others in North Buffalo and Williamsville. Lloyd on Elmwood has a second floor patio, as well as a full bar.
BankOnBuffalo is awarding up to 10 scholarships for high school seniors. Each scholarship is worth $500. Students need to write a 250 word essay on what their favorite company does better than other companies.
Gas prices in Buffalo are still stagnant this week at $3.12 per gallon, according to AAA. Prices ticked upward one cent across New York over the past seven days at $3.18.
