The Buffalo Urban League is the latest local beneficiary of a gift from philanthropist and author Mackenzie Scott. Scott, formerly married to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, gifted $6 million to the Buffalo Urban League. Last week according to Business First, The Health Foundation for Central and Western New York received a $9 million gift from Scott.
