Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Macy's is shutting down its location at the Boulevard Mall, possibly as soon as the first quarter of this year, as the company shrinks its national footprint. The retailer made the announcement Thursday. According to a report from Axios, clearance sales are set to begin later this month and will run for around 10 weeks. The Boulevard Mall location is one of 14 across the country that will close.

Popular Italian restaurant Santasiero's has a new owner, with the deal expected to close some time this winter. Sources tell WBEN the restaurant has been purchased by a local group that will keep all the original recipes in place. The Santasiero's name will stay, too. The Niagara Street restaurant first opened in 1921.

Clarence manufacturer Dynabrade is planning a $7 million expansion of its Sheridan Drive plant. The expansion will add 40,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. The company makes power tools, accessories and dust collection systems for numerous industries, including automobiles and aerospace.
