Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo is losing another longtime restaurant as Shango Bistro & Wine Bar at 3260 Main Street is closing. Shango has been open for 21 years. A final brunch will be offered Sunday, August 23rd. The restaurant's final day in business will be the following Saturday, August 29th.
FeedMore WNY is hosting 'Party at the Pier' next Thursday, August 20 at Buffalo River Fest Park from 5pm-8pm. The event raises money for the nonprofit with food from Fresh Catch Poke Co., Tops and other vendors. There will also be beer and wine tasting from Hartman's Distilling and Southern Tier Brewing. Tickets are available at FeedMore's website.
A ground-breaking ceremony takes place Tuesday for the new Canal Bank location in West Seneca. The branch is located at the corner of Union and Center Roads.
