Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Dumas R.I.S.E. Providers, a group working to expand mental health care to Black and Brown communities in Buffalo, will cut the ribbon on its new Buffalo office on Leroy Avenue Thursday. DRP is one of New York's only Black-owned and operated licensed mental health treatment providers.
There's a new coffee shop coming to the southtowns as Nineteen Coffee opens its first brick and mortar location on Riley Boulevard in Hamburg. A ribbon cutting is planned for July 28th. Nineteen Coffee started less than two years ago as a mobile coffee trailer serving local businesses.
Elma-based Payge's Green Clean is partnering with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason to provide free home cleaning services for people with cancer. Applications can be sent to CleaningForAReason.org.
