BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - US News & World Report has named Mercy Hospital as one of the top hospitals in the nation for heart attack and stroke care. Over 4,300 hospitals were evaluated, with Mercy Hospital placing in the top 20%.
D'Youville University has received a $5 million grant from New York State's Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program to be used toward the construction of a new 100,000 sq. ft. academic center. It's the largest award that has been given to a university in Western New York.
The average price of regular unleaded is down two cents in Buffalo since last Monday at $3.86 per gallon.
