A merger between one of the region's largest independent financial advisory firms and the area's largest insurance broker becomes final later this month. Georgetown Capital Group and Lawley are forming Georgetown Lawley Group. The partnership allows Georgetown to offer a broader array of insurance products to its clients. Lawley expands its financial planning offerings to their individual and corporate clients in their Retirement Division.
Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc. has paid $3.825 million for land on Route 16 in two separate deals. Business First notes the purchases stretch across the Towns of Farmsville and Franklinville. The company can now focus on getting the necessary construction permits. for their planned new facility.
