Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The future of Buffalo's Mohawk Place is uncertain after a series of post on the venue's Facebook page alluded to the business shutting down. A post on Friday advertising shows through February 15th began with the line "It looks like we won't be around much longer, but here's what we hopefully still have coming up." They posted again Saturday night saying that night's show "may be one of your last chances to visit Mohawk Place."

There's good news for the redevelopment of the Boulevard Mall as negotiations between Douglas Development and Benderson Development are expected to be settled by the end of Q1 of this year. That's what Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa tells Buffalo Business First. A request for proposal for the planned mixed-use development is expected to be awarded by the end of the year.

Gas prices dropped 2 cents in Buffalo over the last week, with a gallon of gas averaging $3.11. The price of gas has risen three cents nationwide since last Monday at $3.06.
