As part of its "UPS Brown Friday," the company is hoping to hire a few hundred seasonal employees in the Buffalo area today through Saturday. Those unable to personally attend a hiring fair can still apply online at jobs-ups.com
Launch NY says its third quarter investments from its nonprofit Seed Fund and for profit LP Fund have totaled $580,000 for seven companies. Since its inception, Launch NY's investments come to $3.97 million in 77 companies from the nonprofit fund, and over $1.90 million in 47 companies from the for profit fund.
According to a statement from the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, third quarter lodging sales have already put Ellicottville a few dollars shy of the all-time high in lodging sales set in 2019. The period reflects lodging numbers through August 31st.
